Dee Williams
Dee Williams was born and brought up in Rotherhithe in East London where her father worked as a stevedore in Surrey Docks. It was when she was living in Spain with her husband that she decided to have a go at writing a novel, digging into her own wartime memories.
After a talk given to the RNA by Sue Fletcher of Headline Publishing, Dee discovered that Headline were looking for saga writers. She sent the first 3 chapters of her novel to them and a year later, her first novel was published. She has been writing ever since!
